| On behalf of CERCLE MISSIONNAIRE de la VALLEE, and the
people of Haiti who have been the recipients of such an outpouring of
generousity, I would like to the hundreds of volunteers and kind people
who have supported us in our mission for the past 15 years.
You will meet some of those volunteers who work with us every week as
we pack up and prepare to ship supplies to Sister Therese Lamoreux m.c.r.,
of the Missionary of Christ The King order in Sigueneau, Haiti. During
2003 alone, a total of 64 tons of important every day items and medical
supplies were sent to Sister so that she could help the needy.
If you have any questions, or if you wish to help us out in any way
after reading about our work, please do not hesitate to contact me at
969-2192.

| OUR NEW HOME |
|

|
| CERCLE MISSIONNAIRE de la VALLEE originally ran out of the
old Our Lady of Fatima school building on Percy Street in Blezard Valley.
In January 2004, the organization moved to their new, much larger location
at the former public works building on Desmarais Road in Val Therese. Here
they share the facility with Hydro and the Valley East Theatre Group.
However, the room is much larger and enables the volunteers to have enough
space to display items for the flea market (see below) and do their
packing for the next shipment to Haiti. |
| |
| WEDNESDAY FLEA MARKET |
|

|
| Every Wednesday, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., Colette Tessier on
the left, and Matilda Cyr operate a flea market in the building to help
raise money to purchase supplies for the next shipment to Haiti. A full
load of approximately 30 tons is shipped out twice a year and part of the
shipment includes medical supplies which require some financial
expenditures. |
|

|
| People from the community donate all kinds of merchandise
which is to be sent to Haiti. If they give Colette and Matilda permission,
some of the items are put up for sale. Any items that do not sell are then
packed up and sent to the mission in Haiti.
The public is most welcome to stop in and check out the material that
is available in the flea market section. There are many excellent deals on
the shelves. |
