Nicole Brunet D.D., Gets Set For A Long Career Right Here In Her Hometown

By Robert Kirwan

Nicole Brunet, shown above with Doug Beswick, is returning home after graduating from George Brown College in Toronto with a diploma in Denturism. The road to being a Denturist has been a long one, spanning nearly ten (10) years. It started with a Dental Assistant diploma from College Boreal in 1996. It wasn’t long after that Nicole started to focus on her favourite aspect on dentistry “dental technology”. She gained experience working in a local dental laboratory but was soon hired on at Beswick Denture Clinic as both a dental assistant and technician. Doug Beswick recognized Nicole’s extraordinary talents both as a clinician and technician and encouraged her to pursue a career as a Denturist. With the support from her family and friends, Nicole began her incredible journey that meant moving away from her hometown, living in a strange city, and balancing both work and college studies. She held two jobs working as a dental technician to gain experience and to support herself while in school. Now with certificate in hand, Nicole Brunet is once again with Beswick Denture Clinic, this time as a fully licensed Denturist.
Fluent in both official languages, and very well aware of the needs of local residents, Nicole Brunet is a welcome addition to the health team at the Beswick Denture Clinic. She is also available to do housecalls for clients who are unable to get to the clinic.
“Nicole and I have worked together for almost five years and we get along extremely well,” explained Doug Beswick. “It is comforting for patients in this area to know that a person with Nicole’s experience and skills will likely remain here for her entire career. This is the kind of stability I was looking for when I decided to bring in an associate to help me serve the people from Valley East and Capreol.”
Nicole already has ten years of experience in dental care, so even though she just recently received her certificate, she has a great deal of knowledge about the dental profession.
“Nicole is a true professional in everything she does,” added Beswick. “I am confident that the reputation of Beswick Denture Clinic will be greatly enhanced by adding Nicole to the practice.”
