Avery MacDonald (10) and Allison Hinds, spent the day at
the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre selling tickets for a Much Music Video
Dance to help raise funds for the Shooting Star Day Care on Dominion Drive
in Hanmer. The Shooting Star Day Care holds a variety of fund-raisers
during the year to help provide supplies for their program.
The dance, which is for anyone from the ages of 10 to 16, is being held
on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Ecole Secondaire Hanmer. It will begin at 8
p.m. and finish at 12 midnight. Admission is $8 advance and $10 at the
door.
