Sudbury Canadians Soccer Club Sells Tickets On Needle Point Framed Picture At The Mall

The three girls in the photo added a lot of zest to the hallway of the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre on Saturday, December 10 while they were at the mall selling tickets on a beautiful needle point framed picture. The girls, all thirteen years of age, are members of the U-14 Sudbury Canadians Soccer Club team, were taking their turn raising funds for the organizations. The art work was done by one of the grandmothers of another member of the club.

From the left, we have Ashley Lloyd, Samantha Gordon, and Kelsey Gasparini.

The coach of the U-14 team is Frank Malvaso, while the manager is Manon Lacasse, a resident of Valley East. The Sudbury Canadians Soccer Club is an elite level, traveling club which plays in a large number of out-of-town tournaments, providing the girls with excellent exposure to some of the best soccer players of their age on the continent.
