INTRODUCING SKATE SHARPENING SERVICES

Richard Langlois is pleased to announce that he has installed a skate sharpening machine and will now add this service to Lou's Shoe Repair. A hockey parent and himself a player, he felt that the local community was under-serviced in the area of skate sharpening, so Richard saw it as a natural addition to his shop. Now people can simply drop off their skates while they do their shopping in the mall and pick them up on their way out. Bob McDonald, from Capreol, decided that he would no longer be offering the service in that community, so he sold the equipment to Lou's Shoe Repair. Bob will also help out with some of the sharpening during the busy times in the winter months. Richard expects the machine to be running constantly since his shop is one of the only such centres in the entire community. The cost of sharpening is $4.00.
