is always a good idea to have a complete inspection of the entire domestic
water system, and all sewer, drain, and venting systems to evaluate the
performance of your homes plumbing, and identify any potential problems.
When
we do one of these inspections at CLOGBUSTERS, we perform the following:
Visually
inspect all pipes and valves for corrosion or damage
Check
all faucets and clean the aerators
Test
all drains to ensure proper flow
Clean
all drain traps
Check
all toilets and adjust tank levels
Check
for proper venting
Inspect
hot water heater and check for sediment in tank
Visually
inspect pumps and water softeners
Inspect
washing machine hoses and drain
Inspect
dishwasher supplies and drain
Test
garbage disposal
Check
septic tank levels and flow (when accessible)
Inspect
sewer main, clean outs and flow
CLOG

then provide you with a complete report at that time, along with any
recommendations for future work necessary. (We can only inspect accessible
systems; any buried pipes underground or in walls can not be visually
inspected.)

It is strongly
recommended that a complete inspection be done at least every few years in
order to provide you with peace of mind. It is much less expensive to do
preventative work and maintenance than to do emergency repairs which often
cause supplementary damage to other parts of the house.
