The 2005-2006 Ringette season was a great one for the
Valley East Ringette Association. And to cap it all off, their Junior 'A'
club captured the 2006 Ontario Provincial Ringette Championships which
were played in Sault Ste. Marie.

Shopping Centre selling raffle tickets for their Draw on May 20.

ANNUAL RINGETTE BANQUET
The members will enjoy their Annual Ringette Banquet on Saturday, April
22 at the Centennial Arena at 12 noon.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Membership Meeting will be held on Sunday May 7,
2006 at the Valley East Public Library on Elmview Drive at 1 p.m. Some
Board member positions are open and must be filled at that meeting.
GETTING READY FOR NEXT SEASON
Next season parents will be required to volunteer a few hours of their
time to the Association. One of the projects that will be undertaken is
the formation of an Annual Valley East Ringette Tournament. If ice is
available, the association would like to develop this tournament as a fund
raiser for the group.
Also, volunteers are needed to take care of several other
responsibilities such as statistics, fundraising, banquet, news letter,
web site, bingo, team selection, BBQ, care wash, etc.
