Valley East Bran Kor Trophies Capture Tyke Championship At Walden

Tyke ChampsThe smiling faces in the photo belong to the winners of the 2001 Walden Tyke Tournament. Valley East’s Bran Kor Trophies outscored their opposition 40 to 2 in the four games they played, and won handily with a 6 to 0 victory over Rayside Balfour #4 Caisse in the championship game. Gabriel Despatie had the hat-trick (3 goals) while Mathieu Renaud with 2 and Maxim Veilleux added a single. Hustler of the Championship game was Brandon Legault while MVP honours went to Gabriel Despatie, who scored a grand total of 15 goals during the weekend.

Other players on the team included: Cody Marinig, Ramsey Alfantazi, Cedric Mayer, Nathaniel Polsky, Mathieu Demers, Connor Hill, Nathaniel Jutras, and Marc Veilleux. Coaches and assistants with the club included: Gerry Trottier, Mike Hill, Marc Veilleux, Guy Chatelain, Korey Legault and Carole Legault.
