Valley East boys and girls, get ready!

Your favourite person is coming to town!

That’s right, Jolly Old Saint Nick is on his way!

And to celebrate the occasion, Buddies’ Restaurant and the merchants of the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre are having a “Welcome Back Santa” party on Sunday, December 2. Children of all ages are invited to attend the party which will last from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Buddies’ Restaurant. You can begin arriving any time after 1:30 p.m., with space being provided for the first 150 children who are accompanied by at least one adult. At 2 p.m. the entertainment will begin, featuring Hank Engle and the Hoosier Daddies, along with a surprise guest, and of course, the “Guest of Honour”, Santa himself! There will be prizes and gifts for all children plus, any parent or guardian who wishes to purchase  dinner afterwards can enjoy complimentary hot dogs and fries for their children. As an added bonus, there will be pony rides in the parking lot outside, sponsored by Desjardins’ Food Basics.

Santa will return to the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre during the times listed at the end of this article to visit with his young friends from Valley East and Capreol. Pictures will also be available from Villeneuve Instant Photo, right across from Santa’s chair.
