Being Experienced By Private Pension Plans Is A Trend We
Must Watch Carefully
Senior federal regulators have warned Finance Minister
Jim Flaherty that the financial health of many private
pension plans is worsening. It appears as if some
pension plans may even be given permission to reduce
benefits that were previously promised to retirees.
Apparently almost 72% of private pension plans were less
than fully funded as of June 2005. To show how many are
close to the limit, just six months earlier only 53%

Sudbury Fundraising Dinner Auction Being Held At
Centennial Arena
Volunteer Sudbury/Bénévolat Sudbury is inviting
the entire community to attend a fundraising
dinner auction hosted by Ron Dupuis, Ward 3
Councillor of the City of Greater Sudbury and
Francoise Roussel, Board Member. The event will
take place on Thursday, April 20, 2006 beginning
at 5:30 p.m. at the Centennial Arena in Hanmer.
The cost is $50 per person or $400 per table.

Sudbury Area
Jeff Masciangelo was born in 1974 and was raised in Valley East where he
attended elementary school at St. Anne and then went to St. Charles
College in Sudbury. His youth included playing hockey for the NOHA in the
Valley from Novice to Midget. He and his wife, Sarah (Antonioni) now live
in Val Caron. Jeff's goal is to further the development of Masciangelo Motors by
keeping pace with the trends in the industry with respect to long-term
