I have always tried to teach our children to take
care of the elderly. Our neighbor is 85 and just
really can't roll her garbage can back and forth to the
curb on Wednesday's, so between my husband, my son, my
daughter or myself we get the job done for her. I
also pick up her mail for her and deliver it to her front
door on cold and rainy days. Kersten made her a cute
painting on a block of wood for Christmas along with a
card and in return we got a beautiful plant and some home
made cookies. It's nice to have nice neighbors, I am
so blessed.
